The Place For Rock Guitar Lessons In Greenville, SC.
Over the hills and through the woods of Greer, SC.
(Beginners Welcomed For All Popular Genres.)
I have over 30 years combined experience playing, performing, recording and teaching guitar lessons. I began teaching full-time in Pittsburgh in 2009 before recently moving to Greenville.
Competent in all popular genres, I specialize in discovering my students' strengths and cultivating an atmosphere of learning that offers each student a full musical experience. We can work on everything from blues, rock, and pop, to Christian, country, and folk music. All ages are welcome—I have taught guitar students ranging from 7 to 70.
Guitar lessons are flexible. I teach students of all levels of expertise and welcome beginners. I provide a solid foundation for students just starting out and if you're already playing, I can help you move to a higher level of musicianship.
My goal is to provide guitar lessons that are informal, enjoyable and designed to help you make rapid progress on the guitar. I take a practical approach that will engage my students, making it fun and helping them to become better musicians. If you live in the Greenville, SC area or nearby region, feel free to talk with us.

"My daughter started guitar lessons with Dave at age 9. She asked about lessons several times but I wasn’t sure she would stick with it. She started with private lessons at our house and eventually she was comfortable enough taking lessons at his studio. She looked forward to learning new songs each week. Dave is very patient and we wish we could continue with him. Unfortunately we are moving several states away. He is going to be hard to replace!”
